Applicant privacy notice
How we handle what you send when you apply for a role or ask about a clinical partnership. These careers pages are run by VirtualCare AI, Inc.
Last updated October 28, 2026.
What we ask for
An application asks for your name, your email and the role you are applying for. Everything else is up to you:
- A phone number, the state you live in and a link to a professional profile.
- For a clinical role: your designation and specialty, the states where you are licensed, your licence, board and DEA status, your telehealth experience and availability, and the arrangements you would consider.
- For other roles: your experience, time zone, availability and a portfolio link.
- A resume, a short message, and how you heard about us.
A partnership inquiry also asks where you would like to practise, whether you own a practice now, what you have in mind and when you would like to start.
What we never ask for
We never ask for a Social Security number, a copy of a licence or an ID, your date of birth, or any information about a patient. Please leave them out of your resume and your message too.
Why we use it
To consider you for the role you applied for and for similar roles, to contact you about them, and to keep a record of your application. For a partnership inquiry, to look at a possible partnership with you and to contact you about it.
We also look at where applications come from, such as which job board or link, so we know where to post our roles.
Where you came from
If you reach our careers pages from another site, or from a link with campaign tags such as a job board's, your browser notes the first careers page you opened, the name of the site that sent you and any such tags. It keeps them in that browser tab only, never in a cookie, and sends them only with your application or inquiry. If you never send one, they go nowhere.
Who reads it
People on our recruiting team read what you send in our admin console, after signing in. They may also be sent an email with the details of each new application or inquiry. Your application is never posted publicly, and we do not send it to job boards.
Your resume
Your resume is kept in our private store, never at a public web address. Only a signed-in member of our recruiting team can download it.
People decide, not software
No software reads your application or your resume to score, rank or reject you. A person reads it, and nothing about you is decided automatically.
What you tell us about your licences, board certification and DEA registration is kept as you gave it, as self-reported. Sending it does not verify it.
How long we keep it
We keep your application while it is useful for considering you for a role or a partnership. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we will, where the law allows.
Your choices
Write to care@tryvirtualcare.com to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Deleting it removes your applications and inquiries, your resume and our notes about you.
This is not patient information
What you send as an applicant or a prospective partner is not patient information. Our HIPAA notice of privacy practices is for patients, and it does not describe how we handle applications or inquiries.
