Terms & Conditions
Effective October 4, 2026
These are the terms for using VirtualCare AI. In short: a licensed clinician reviews your assessment and decides your treatment; AI helps with the reading and writing but does not decide; you are not guaranteed a prescription; this is not for emergencies; and treatment is $39 a month with no contract, medication not included.
1. Who we are
VirtualCare AI is run by VirtualCare AI, Inc. ("we", "us"). Clinical care is provided by licensed clinicians.
You can reach us at care@tryvirtualcare.com or 833-761-2028.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older and in a US state where a clinician on our team is licensed. We ask where you are first, because the doctor has to be licensed where you are when they treat you.
Give true and complete answers. Your doctor decides from what you tell them.
3. What the service is
VirtualCare AI is ongoing medication management, delivered by telehealth. You take a free assessment; a licensed clinician reviews it and decides whether to treat you and with what; you get that decision in writing; and while you are on treatment we check in with you by short questions so your clinician can keep the dose right.
4. Your doctor decides, not the software
A licensed clinician makes every decision about your treatment, and signs it. Nothing about your treatment reaches you until they have.
Fixed rules we wrote, not an AI model, screen your answers and set the limits on what can be approved. The rules block an approval when something they check for stands in the way, and the clinician cannot override that from the chart.
5. How we use AI
AI models read and write around those decisions. They summarise your assessment and your check-ins for your clinician, draft and reword notes and replies for your clinician to edit and send, and answer simple questions in your chat. They do not decide your treatment, approve a prescription, or change a dose.
What a model writes is checked before anyone relies on it, and where it fails the check we use the version written directly from your record. Your information is sent to our model provider, Anthropic, to do this. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train AI.
6. No guarantee of a prescription
A clinician may decline to treat you, ask you for more information, change a dose, or stop a treatment. Completing the assessment, or paying, does not guarantee a prescription.
Some medicines are controlled substances. For these the clinician must meet additional legal requirements before prescribing, which can include searching your state's prescription monitoring programme and, for some medicines, a pharmacy history. We may ask your consent for those searches.
7. Not for emergencies
This service is not for emergencies. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Messages to your care team are not monitored continuously.
8. Cost and billing
The assessment and your doctor's review of your answers are free. A call with your doctor can cost money if they are not in network with your insurance; the price is shown before you book. Treatment is $39 a month, billed once treatment starts and only while you are on treatment, with no contract. The price does not include medication. Prices are in US dollars.
Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe; we keep your card's brand and last four digits, not the full number.
Because there is no contract, you are billed only for the months you are on treatment. If you have a question about a charge, contact us at care@tryvirtualcare.com or 833-761-2028.
9. Texts
With your permission we text you about check-ins, appointments and replies from your doctor. Texts do not contain your condition, medicine or dose; they carry a prompt and a link, and the details are on your page after you sign in. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
You can ask for a sign-in code by text at any time. It expires in 10 minutes. Never share it with anyone.
Text messages program. By ticking the box on our assessment form you agree to receive text messages from VirtualCare AI at the mobile number you gave: check-in links, notices that your doctor has replied, call reminders, order updates and sign-in codes. Message frequency varies, usually a few a month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help, or email care@tryvirtualcare.com or call 833-761-2028. Consent is not a condition of treatment. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
10. Your account
You sign in with your phone number and a code we text you. Keep your phone secure. You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in, so tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
11. Acceptable use
- Do not give false or misleading information, or answer for someone else.
- Do not use the service to get a medicine for anyone but yourself, or to sell or share it.
- Do not try to break, probe or overload the service, or reach anyone else's information.
12. Our content
VirtualCare AI, its software and its written content belong to its licensors or to VirtualCare AI, Inc. You may use them to receive the service and for no other purpose.
13. Disclaimers and limits on liability
The service is provided as it is and as it is available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits any right you have that the law does not allow us to limit.
14. Questions and complaints
If something is wrong, tell us first at care@tryvirtualcare.com or 833-761-2028, and we will work with you to put it right.
15. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will post the new version here with its effective date, and tell you if a change affects you materially. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
How we handle your health information is described in our HIPAA notice, linked from the foot of every page.
